AIMING FOR JESUS

Who We Are

People Saved By God's Amazing Grace

Hollis & Elaine McGehee

Hollis and Elaine McGehee “Aiming For Jesus.” Hollis is a retired judge from Mississippi now living in Covington Louisiana. Elaine is originally from Kentucky but has been in Louisiana for many years. Both have experienced significant failures in life. God brought them together and they now live desiring to see God honored as men and women and boys and girls are born again in Jesus Christ. To help one another and other Christians grow in Christlikeness (God’s goal for each of our lives). The best way for us to grow is by aiming for Jesus everyday.

Publishing Christian books that are Christ centered with a goal of helping others to grow in Christ. Hollis and Elaine are married and live in Covington, Louisiana. Their desire is to love and serve God with all of their heart, mind and soul and to love their neighbors as themselves – especially those neighbors who are most challenging.

Hollis is actively ministering and discipling others and himself through Bible Studies, social media, text ministry and every person God brings across his path.

Hollis has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is taking one of the newest treatments. He rejoices at the new opportunities this disease has given him and he works to both transcend the diagnosis and to share with others about mental illness.

Hollis and Elaine are both 71 years old and have six children and 8 grandchildren. They are members of Mandeville Bible Church, where Hollis currently serves as an elder.
