“a devout man who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God.” (Acts 10:2, ESV) ‘devout’ – being very committed, God fearing, faithful… ‘gave alms generously’ – one who opens wide their hands to those in need… ‘prayed continually to God.’ – one who is looking to, trusting in, have respect and reverence for God – acknowledging that he needs God in everything in every way How could we imagine a life lived better than this picture, may each of our lives be so occupied.
