God Gives Ultimate Emancipation Proclamation Galatians 5:1(ESV) 1For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. We are born in slavery to sin. We remain enslaved to sin unless / until we are emancipated by the Lord Jesus Christ. On the cross at Calvary Jesus emancipated all from sin. We receive the emancipation personally by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9) By God’s amazing grace, may we not submit ourselves again to the yoke of the slavery to sin – let us live in the freedom Christ has purchased for us by his life, death, burial and resurrection.
