For bringing me through this day and For carrying me into and through the night And most of all for Jesus – I give you thanks and praise Thank you, Lord, that as I prepare to lay my head down, I do so with sweet peace and know that my rest is in you. There are many who are laying down in fear, in hurt, in pain and in very difficult physical and emotional circumstances and I come before you and pray that they may each be met at their point of deepest need. Lord, I pray that my lips and my soul would declare your praise through the watches of the night and that my rest be in Christ Jesus. Amen.
