Father, you have been so gracious and merciful to me today. Giving me things I didn’t deserve and never giving me what I do deserve. Thank you Lord. Father, as this day begins to close, I bow in your presence and I offer up praise I sing praises to your name, O Lord Praises to your name, O Lord For your name is great and greatly to be praised. You have fed me with and on your Living Word at the beginning and throughout the day – now as I begin my nightly fast may my physical body fast from food but my spiritual man feast on the Word through the watches of the night so that I wake tomorrow filled with Jesus and ready to closely follow the Holy Spirit through the coming day – or, if it be your will may I come to visit you face to face in this night. I trust you with my life here and hereafter. Amen.
