Thank you heavenly Father for bringing me through this day and into this quiet moment in the dark of the evening when I can rest in stillness and peace and know that you are God – knowing that you are with me. Lord, as I sit in my chair in the quiet darkness of my room my heart rejoices in you, my spirit is filled with the Holy Spirit and your presence is all that I need. I thank you Lord that you have taught me that you are my Provider, there is nothing in this world that compares to you – there is no thing I can have or obtain, there is no pleasure that I can pursue, there is no achievement I can attain that even comes close to the deep satisfaction that is mine in this quiet humble moment of resting in Jesus. All of my needs are met exceedingly well in you. Amen.
