Lord, you are so faithful, so beautiful, so powerful, so merciful and gracious – thank you for all of your blessings and your gifts in Christ Jesus. I rest in the fact that you will, as I sleep, be as you were in my waking hours – ever present, ever faithful, ever loving, and ever providing. So, Lord, in complete peace and in the joy of the Lord, I now lay me down to sleep in full assurance that through this night you will bring me either to the morning light or to your presence in eternal light and I trust you completely and thank you now for whichever way you determine this night shall be and go – all I am and all I want and need is in you – thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.
