Father, as I prepare to lay down at the end of this day you have given me I am painfully reminded of the many who have no place to lay, of the many who have not risen today because they are confined to their beds, of the many who have no roof over their head nor pillow under it to comfort and protect them. Lord have mercy upon them I pray. Keep them safe and take them close to yourself. Prompt me to do all that I can to provide love and basic necessities to others in Jesus’ name. Amen
