You are Lord over the bright sunlit day and you are Lord over the dark and sacred night – you are my Lord and you are my Savior and I trust in you and rest in you. Nothing in all creation, not the night, not the day, nor anything else can ever separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. So, Lord, by your grace, I go boldly into this night knowing that you are God and knowing that you are sufficient – all I need is in you – so I rest with my heart and my soul looking up to you Lord Jesus my God and my King. Amen.
