Lord, as we take our daily inventory, as we look back across the day that has just passed – we can see the right steps we took because we were closely following Jesus. We can also see the glaring sinful steps we took when we tried to do life on our own with only ourselves to guide. Lord have mercy, forgive us and cleanse us and prepare us for a night of rest and a preparation for tomorrow, if that be your will, that we may more closely and fully keep our eyes on Jesus all day tomorrow by your grace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
