“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ” Matthew 6:21 We must be very careful in deciding what to focus on in life. Our hearts embrace what our minds hold dearest. You can trying saying something like, “I love God but there is just this one thing which I really love to do.” Whatever that ‘thing’ is – it will be the treasure in our lives. There is not room on the ‘throne of your heart’ for two. The one / thing that occupies the throne in your heart will own your heart. Who does your heart belong to? Jesus or the world – those are the only two choices. Set your heart on Jesus – he is the answer he is the treasure of greatest value and the only one that truly lasts. Only you and God know your heart – what would God say of your heart today?
