Follow Him in All Things

What this book is

None of us is here by accident. We were each born for the chief purpose of loving and honoring God, and missing that purpose is the greatest of all tragedies. This book calls one and all to a life centered in Christ — denying self, taking up the cross daily, and following Him (Luke 9:23) — not as a path for a few “especially spiritual” Christians, but as basic Christianity for all who are in Christ.

Part One asks “Who do you say God is?” and walks through what God has revealed about Himself: one God in three Persons, light, love, infinite, eternal, almighty, all-knowing, everywhere present, merciful, just, gracious, sovereign, unchanging, holy, fair, and righteous. Part Two asks “Who are you in Christ?” Part Three asks “What will you do with Jesus?” — how then shall we live, and living by the Spirit. The author credits A. W. Tozer’s The Pursuit of God as a key influence.
