Knowing that we are free in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 8:32-36) May we not submit ourselves again to a yoke of slavery to sin by embracing the ways of the this world 1 Peter 2:16(ESV) 16Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. God has set us free from, the most insidious destructive slave master called a sin nature – for freedom Christ has died for me, may I / we never become yoked again to the destructive forces of a sinful path in life. We know for sure that sin is always crouching, ready to attack. We know that there are times every day when in thought, word and / or deed we either yield or are tempted to yield to sin – so we just set our faces like flint right now to reject and turn away from sin.
