For this glorious day we give you thanks dear Lord. For this is the day that you have made, and we are rejoicing and we are glad in it
We lift our hearts up to you and we pray you. Direct our hearts like you direct a river. Direct our hearts straight to Jesus.
May we now and ever focus our lives on Christ. Our hands we commit to your work and your will. May our hands move at the impulse of your wish. And may our hands me committed to the labor of love bringing good to all you bring us to on this day.
Lord may our feet walk us to the place you want us to. My our steps be ordered by you and directed by you.
The blessed Holy Spirit and thus we know we are. Walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
Our words are so important – may every word from our mouths. Be seasoned with grace and mercy and pass through the filter of Ephesians 4:29 only those things good for building others up. May the words of our mouths be such as to bring good to others.
Lord, this entire day – this entire life – all of our eternity with you. May it all work for your glory and your praise now today and forever and ever through Jesus Christ our Lord.
