Dear Lord, we awake to new dangers and threats and atrocities every day – help us to look to you and focus on you because there is no answer in this world like your answer – JESUS. Help me / us all to live today with our eyes on Jesus and know that he doesn’t just show us a way – Jesus is the Way – the Only Way and he is truth and he is life. All of our needs are met in Christ – all of our hope is in Christ – our strength and joy are in Christ. Jesus Christ is in himself the answer to every prayer we pray. Lord help me / us die to self and live all in, fully focused, and completely trusting in Jesus Christ as our everything in this world and in the one to come. Amen
