“If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” (Romans 12:18, ESV) We cannot make someone else live in peace, but we can yet live peaceably with them. We must make sure any conflict that arises, does not come from us. We must make sure that regardless of the conflict caused by others, we do nothing to cause or contribute to the breaking of the peace. So far as it depends upon us (and it always depends upon us to live peaceably with others) – let us be found dependably peaceful in the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
