“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 1:3, ESV) No matter how difficult life may be at present, every single Christian, without exception, can say “I am blessed.” How blessed? Blessed with ‘every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places! When will these blessings occur? The moment you are born again. This is not about things of this world but the things of God, the true blessings that are not physical but spiritual – in other words things that are not based on circumstances; blessings that are ours right now and forever in Christ. The blessings are yours in Christ right now – come out of the shadows of the world and walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoy the great freedom, the peace that passes all understanding and the joy and love without measure that are mine and yours right now in the Lord Jesus Christ.
