“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2, NIV84) Life is a daily choice between the Lord Jesus Christ and the world in which we live. The pull of the world is so very strong, not nearly so strong as Christ but the world’s pull is so much more evident in our world of time, space and matter. It is the reality around us. But, the true and greater ultimate reality is the Lord Jesus Christ. To avoid the danger of wrong choices / being pulled into the world as a way of life – WE MUST FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS! He is the one who began the good work in us and he is the one who sustains his work in us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus today and not turn to the right or the left.
