“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11, ESV) Can’t you hear your mother shouting after you something like “don’t forget your mittens” or “be sure and put your jacket on” Clothes in the physical world are to protect us from the elements of the physical world. Those very clothes are of no value in protecting us in the spiritual world.
BUT GOD
Has made a way – he has provided us with a set of clothes that are just right for the daily spiritual battle we all face: the whole armor of God! Our daily battle is with the enemy and the enemy is Satan. God knows just how we need to dress and so he has given us spiritual armor for the spiritual battle we all face.
Your Armor – DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!
