God, what a blessing you are and have been all this day long because as I look back I can see it is you who have carried me through every trial and every steep place and now I have the joy of knowing that it is once again you who will bring me through the night as I sleep and have no idea what is going on around me. So I turn my heart to you O Lord, and rest in you and love you and trust you for this night and for all of life and eternity in the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
