Heavenly Father, I begin this day looking to you and trusting in you for you are God and I need no other. Help me to continue as I go through this day – looking to you, abiding in Christ and calling on the Holy Spirit to guide and guard me as I go – one true God who exists eternally in the three persons who make up the Godhead – Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Father, forgive me for I have sinned against you by my thoughts, words, and deeds. Cleanse me and restore me to righteousness in Jesus’ name. I also forgive those who have done anything against me. I look to you Lord and say help me Lord to be and do today just what you would have me to. I don’t want to deviate from your will for any reason – Lord help me. Father, I lay before you these humble requests: Salvation for the lost Christlikeness for the body of Christ Healing for the sick Delivery for the addicted Provision for the ones down and out Protection for unborn babies Wisdom for people in places of leadership Protection for the family Strength, peace, comfort, and rest for the persecuted Christians Lord help us all I praise you O Lord for who you are – you are God and there is no other and may my voice and my heart and hands ever praise you O Lord our God through Jesus Christ. Amen.
