Lord, as I look up to you I look back across this day And as I look back across this day I can’t help but see that my love is cold, For I have not loved you with all of my heart, soul, and mind And I have not loved my neighbor as myself. Lord, have mercy. Forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness And lead me in the way that is everlasting. As I lay down, may I lay down with Christ so that Tomorrow when I wake up, I may wake up with Christ. Trusting and knowing that if I do not wake tomorrow I will be ever and always with Christ. Amen.
