“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” (Romans 12:10, ESV) If we are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, our lives are marked by his presence in us (for it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us… Galatians 2:20). The presence of the risen Lord Jesus Christ in my life is marked by love for one another with brotherly affection – all by his grace – not by my own effort. Mine is to yield to the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in me and the result is loving one another with brotherly affection and outdoing one another in showing honor. All praise and glory belong to the Lord Amen .
