Joshua said choose today who you will serve and then he declared that he chooses to follow the Lord, to serve the Lord, to live for the Lord. (Joshua 24:15) This decision is not one you can defer. A failure to choose to follow Jesus is a choice not to follow Jesus. There is no neutral ground here. “For the one who is not against us is for us.” (Mark 9:40, ESV) We either stand for Jesus. Or We stand against Jesus. This is a clear choice; it is unavoidable even if we try to avoid it. Choose this day who you will serve, who you will follow, who you will give yourself to. As for me and my house, we choose right now to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
