For this new day, I give you thanks. Lord, help me live today with a thankful heart – thankful for you allowing me this day and for saving me and giving me the full assurance I have every day in the Lord Jesus Christ that no matter what happens today nothing in all creation can separate me from your love in Christ Jesus. Knowing that God is for me, I rejoice that nothing and no one can stand against God and so it is well with my soul that I am secure in Christ. Lord, help me live today following Jesus in every way – and honoring you in all my thoughts, words and deeds. Amen.
