This day is almost done and by your grace here we stand, ready to go into the night. You have been so faithful, and we have let you down by our actions and our omissions – Lord have mercy and forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Lord, please hold us and keep us through this night. May our minds and hearts be stayed on you and rest in you. Lord, there are many who do not have the blessing of sleep due to various causes – be with them and keep them and grant that on this night they may sleep the sleep that only you can give. Thank you, Father. Amen.
