Good morning, Lord, thank you for waking me to this new day. Father, I know this day will be filled with challenges and my faith will be tested continually. Help me settle right now that my trust is in you and hope and prayer is that today, without failure, I will look to you and depend on you for every step I take, every thought I think, and every word I speak. My prayer is that I do nothing ‘my way’ but I go continually with your way as I look to Jesus who is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Help me Lord to love you above all and to love my neighbor as myself wherever I encounter him and in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
